Add a garlicky twist to the BBQ classic for a hot dog diggity day!

Hot dogs are a summer staple, hands down … no getting away from them! A great way to trick out and eat up this BBQ-party essential is with Furlani Parmesan Garlic Breadsticks instead of the regular plain buns. Don’t worry – our breadsticks are big enough to hold the ‘dogs.

Furlani breadsticks are baked and covered with delicious garlic spread and a touch of Parmesan cheese. All you have to do is heat them up on the grill, or in the oven, and serve. Yum yum!

Furlani Hotdog

Everyone loves a hot dog. It’s the way we top it that sets the mood 😉

Some folks like their dogs pure – with just the fine line of mustard. Others like to layer on the standard toppings: mustard, ketchup, relish, mayonnaise… Some take it up a notch with pickles or sauerkraut, corn, salsa, barbecue sauce, bacon …

But why stop there? Grill up the corn, squeeze lime juice over chunky salsa + add some jalapeño for bite. Add red cabbage + lemon juice to zest up the sauerkraut! Gettin’ jiggy with it!

Na na na na na na na nana!

Imagine the fun you can have with your hot dogs! Make it a mouth-watering extravaganza. Turn your hot dogs into a dress-up event like tacos! Turn taco nights into hot dog diggity days!

Think shredded cheese, cheddar cheese, feta cheese + olives + olive oil, Monterey Jack or Havarti + Swiss cheese combo … Brie and Camembert … Triple Cream Brie! Ooooh! … you can never have enough cheese! … cheese curds and fries …

Poutine hot dog anyone?!

How about caramelized onions? Balsamic vinegar, bell peppers, shishito pepers … chili pepper flakes + rosemary and thyme! Brush with harissa, sprinkle with za’atar! Shave some carrots, beets + fennel, slice up mango, peaches, plums … dab with apricot marmalade … spread with pesto, roasted hazel nuts + grilled cherry tomatoes … peanuts and cilantro, pecans + honey, honey roasted pecans! … teriyaki sauce … steak sauce, duck sauce, hoisin sauce, hot sauce! … Nutella?!

The possibles are truly endless! Pull all your favourites out of the fridge and pantry. Turn the boring old hot dog into a funk phenomena!

Let them heat through and grill until browned and, if to your liking, slightly charred
Option 2 – Conventional or Toaster Oven:
Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C)

Place breadsticks in the oven for 3-4 minutes or until heated through
    Do not dry by overheating
