We added our garlic toast to this classic recipe and loved the results. We’re sure you will too.
Salt and pepper
2 tablespoons of mustard
2 tablespoons of mayonnaise
1 pack of baked sliced ham
1 cup of shredded gruyere cheese
2 tablespoons of butter
4 slices of Fulani Garlic Toast
Beat eggs in a shallow baking dish along with a few pinches of salt and pepper.
Place two ham slices on one piece of garlic toast. Spread mustard and mayonnaise on top. Cover with shredded gruyere cheese then top with another slice of garlic toast.
Over medium heat melt butter in skillet. Coat each sandwich in the egg mixture and place in skillet.
Cook sandwiches 2-3 minutes on each side until light golden brown and cheese has melted.
Ta-da! You just made a Monte Cristo sandwich.
